Pete Fine
Pete Fine started studying guitar and music in 1963 at age 13 in New York City. Falling in love with symphonic music in his late teens, he taught himself to orchestrate. Since moving to Tucson in 1974, he has had seven works for symphony orchestra performed in Arizona and Brazil; including two concertos for electric guitar as well as several chamber works.
Pete’s guitar career has included pit orchestras, progressive rock bands, jazz ensembles, and big bands. He has also studied and performed north Indian classical music on sitar.
Pete is an inductee in the Tucson Musicians Hall of Fame and has been featured in Guitar Player magazine.
