Todd Martin

Born and raised on a small island in the Canada-adjacent Thousand Island region of Upstate New York, Todd Martin started piano lessons at age five and saxophone at age seven. His love of music continues to this day.

Todd is a Navy veteran who also conducted woodwind lessons at the Ryuku School of Music in Okinawa, Japan. Completing his service to our country, he studied Liberal Arts at the State University of New York and continued his education at the University of Arizona, earning his degree in Music Theory and Composition in 1989. After graduating from college, Todd completed a two-year apprenticeship at a local piano shop where he learned the art of piano tuning and repair. He qualified as a Certified Piano Technician and started his on-going business in 2000.

Todd currently plays saxophone and piano in several music groups ranging from big bands and wind ensembles, to our eight-piece ’60s and ’70’s rock group. He is also the Director of Music at a local Lutheran Church where he oversees the music ministry, plays the organ, and accompanies the choir.
